AP 100

2D CAD system which is designed to allow the creation of sheet metal parts quickly and efficiently.


Standard features include common notch types, standard hole definition and various dimensioning options. AP100 links to Amada's SDD(Sheet metal Digital on Demand) databse which enables the storage of all CAD and program information in one central location

An optional `3D Modification' module allows the user to create a 3D representation of the 2D part and programmer to check the sizes of the finished component. The 3D representation can be achieved in 2 ways.

  • A flat part can be imported with bendlines which then have the bending data attached to them
  • Or the Face Extraction function can be used to pick up each face of the part which can then be joined together

Other optional modules that can be added to the AP100 at any time include the Duct Unfold function or 2D To 3D Orthographic Projection module (to build the 3D representation from a 2D orthographic drawing).
